grassy, 2017

I pruned ph paper as grass and placed on the edge of Dover White Cliff on a rainy day

When the Ph paper meets the rain, the acidity turns them to green, like the real grasses. After it dried out they will turn back to yellow but the ingredients in the paper will seep into the soil and kill the grass and turns them to yellow. After certain repetition, while the soil has diluted all the toxic ingredients it grows well again. A work that interruptlly using artificial and nature to change colours.
