who's the player in fishing?  2022

The feeding intensity of a fingerling reflects the skill and intelligence of the species to a certain extent. The more skillfully the fish can eat, the easier it is to escape the chance of being hunted. The work hilariously uses fish as the player of the fishing game, and allows the feeding experience of the real fish to be the intervention of the virtual game. The different species of people built into the floating barrel by LUI enriched the difficulty level of this "game". The more skillfully the fingerlings feed in the bucket, the harder the "successful hunt" scene in the game is to show through a strong swing. This work allows the real fish in the barrel to act as a computer target prey character and a gamer at the same time.

 

In the pursuit of hunting and fishing, there is always a loser. The work wants the audience to reflect on a successful hunt. What requirements are met? Does the prey need to be stupid enough, or does the angler need to be skilled enough? Is it the man or the fish that dominates the chances of success in the fishing behavior? Whether the behavior of fishing itself is the man fishing or the fish, and the angler or the fish is the real player.

魚種的進食力度某程度上 反映了該物種進食的技巧智慧。魚越能夠巧妙地進食越容易逃得過被捕獵的機會。作品滑稽地讓魚作為釣魚遊戲的玩家,讓真實魚群自身進食經歷作為虛擬遊戲的介入。  雷氏 在浮漂桶內置人的不同物種豐富了設定了這個”遊戲”的難易程度。桶內魚種進食得越巧妙,遊戲中的”成功捕獵”場景顯示便越難透過強力擺動而展現。這個作品讓桶內真實魚群同時作為了電腦目標獵物角色同時亦是遊戲玩家。

在追求的捕獵釣魚過程中,總會出現一位輸家。作品想讓觀眾反思一次成功的捕獵, 究竟當中是滿足了什麼要求?是獵物需要足夠的愚笨,還是垂釣者的技巧需要足夠高超? 釣魚行為中究竟是人抑或是魚主宰了成功的機會? 究竟釣魚本身行為是人釣魚還是魚釣人, 究竟是垂釣者抑或魚才是真正的玩家。
